Coolrain is now offering up pre-orders for their new, handmade ‘Monsterz Crew’ figures, Andy and P-nix. Both Andy and P-nix are extremely limited to ten each, and like the rest of the 17 members of the Monsterz Crew, are decked out in urban Nike attire. Because of the handmade, branded nature of the articulated, large figures, they’ll cost a whopping $700 each. Via DYT.

Antoine Fuqua is in negotiations to direct a big-screen look at the life of Notorious B.I.G.. Cheo Hodari Coker, the last person to interview B.I.G. before his death in 1997, will write the script for Fox Searchlight. B.I.G. was born Christopher Wallace. He took the name Biggie Smalls (he stood more than 6-foot and weighed in excess of 400 pounds) before settling on the name Notorious B.I.G.. He started out at a Brooklyn crack dealer before becoming an East Coast hip-hop sensation, helping establish Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy label as a hip-hop presence and aiding artists like Lil’ Kim and wife Faith Evans. B.I.G. was involved in a feud with West Coast rapper Tupac Shakur, who was gunned down in a Las Vegas drive-by in late 1996. In March 1997, B.I.G. was shot as he was leaving a party at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. B.I.G.’s murder has never been solved. In 2002, Evans and Voletta Wallace (B.I.G.’s mother) filed a civil suit against the LAPD and the City of Los Angeles, alleging that police were involved.
